Snacks are fully stocked and the mini fridge is filled with cold drinks to accommodate those who come. Girls spend time in The Space studying, talking, and connecting with friends. The air is filled with music, and girls enjoy our music corner equipped with guitars, pianos, ukuleles and drums. Additionally, there is a fully stocked art corner, x-box, and game area for the girls to utilize.
Art
We believe that art is for the soul, and using your talents to express yourself is both empowering and therapeutic. Once a week, we offer art classes with various talented art teachers, who teach you how to tap into your talents and learn a new skill simultaneously. Art class takes place weekly, Tuesday nights at 7:00pm, and varies from week to week. The girls can take home a creative piece that they are proud of, and utilize their skills that they learn on their own time as well.
Recreational Programs
On Wednesdays, every week, we bring in an innovative program with the intent to teach the girls new skills. Offering a wide variety of activities, including crafting, sewing, color theory, food art, krav maga, and other creative workshops. These programs are conducted with the intent to assist girls in outsourcing their skills and acquiring new, productive talents to develop.
