At The Space CH, our mission is to nurture a vibrant, welcoming community center where every young woman and teenage girl in Crown Heights feels empowered, inspired, and a true sense of community.

 

We believe that every girl deserves a space where she can connect, grow, and thrive.

 

That’s why we’ve created a warm environment filled with opportunities to learn and build meaningful relationships. The Space is a haven of creativity, connection, and fun. Our incredible staff—mentors, friends, and role models—are dedicated to building meaningful relationships and fostering a sense of belonging.

 

We know that life’s challenges can leave girls searching for connection in the wrong places. When a girl doesn’t have the space she needs, she may turn to distractions like endless internet scrolling, unhealthy relationships, or other numbing behaviors. Left unaddressed, these struggles can lead to choices that negatively impact emotional and physical well-being.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Inspired by the Rebbe’s words—“If you see what needs to be repaired, and how to repair it, then you have found a piece of the world that God has left for you to complete”—we’ve created The Space to offer what’s missing: connection, purpose, and joy.

Through exciting programming like art classes, yoga sessions, workshops, and nightly events, paired with resources and support from trusted mental health organizations like Neshamos, The Space ensures every girl has the tools to flourish.
